Implant Hire Controller
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 p/a
Working pattern: Monday - Friday 8:00-17:00
Location: Haydock
We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our reputable client as a Hire Controller, based on-site in Haydock, working closely with our client's key partner.
What will you do?
- You’ll be fully embedded at our client's partner's location, serving as the dedicated point of contact for them.
- You’ll collaborate daily with both the partner’s team and our client's internal teams, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable hire services.
- This unique set-up enables you to build strong relationships, respond swiftly to needs, and take full ownership of the hire process from start to finish, making a real impact.

How this role supports the delivery of hire solutions:
Customer Service & Communication:
- Be the main point of contact.
- Respond to customer enquiries, resolve concerns, and provide regular updates.
- Build strong relationships and look for ways to support evolving customer needs.
Hire Coordination
- Manage the full hire lifecycle — from enquiry through to equipment return.
- Prepare contracts, quotations, and updates accurately and on time.
- Negotiate rates within agreed frameworks and use InspHire to support operational excellence.
Teamwork & Collaboration:
- Work closely with partner teams and our client's colleagues in transport, sales, and operations.
- Record and manage client requirements using the CRM to support joined-up service delivery.
- Help streamline communication and ensure consistent service across both businesses.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all hire equipment meets relevant safety regulations.
- Provide clear safety and operating guidance to customers.
- Keep accurate records of each transaction and contribute to performance tracking.
What makes you a great fit?
- A customer-first mindset and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of the hire or sales process (experience in plant hire is a bonus).
- Proactive, organised, and confident working independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools, and quick to learn new systems.
