Duties and responsibilities:

You will be joining a high-performing, well-equipped workshop supporting road transport fleets across Western Australia’s Midwest. The team maintains a wide range of vehicles, including Volvo, Mack, and UD trucks.

• Servicing and repairs on Volvo, Mack, and UD trucks
• Fault finding and diagnostics using modern scan tools
• Engine, suspension, brake, and drivetrain repairs
• Pre-delivery inspections and compliance checks
• Occasional breakdown and call-out work
• Completing job cards and service reports accurately

Experience and Qualifications:

• Fully qualified HGV Mechanic (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience working on road transport trucks (Volvo, Mack, or UD preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Team player, reliable, and motivated to relocate
• Willing to complete the 482 visa process and settle in Western Australia

Benefits:

• £26–£30 per hour equivalent (based on average earnings incl. overtime)
• $45–$50 AUD per hour base rate
• Overtime paid at 50% loading after 7.6 hours per day (up to $75 AUD/hour)
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm (earlier starts may apply in peak periods)
• Breakdown rotation once settled in (includes daily phone allowance and call-out rates)
• 482 Employer Sponsored Visa (TSS)
