HGV Driver - Heathrow - PLATINUM RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY LIMITED : Job Details

I am seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join my client near Heathrow with an ASAP start. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 2 driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely transporting goods from our facility to various destinations within the Heathrow area.
• Loading and unloading cargo in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered.
• Providing exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
• Following all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driver's license.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Knowledge of Heathrow and surrounding areas is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary.
