HGV Class 1 Driver - Pertemps Gloucester : Job Details

HGV Class 1 driver, needed in Gloucester, paying £16.00-£17per hour, Ongoing work Monday to Friday, starting between 12:00pm-14:00pm and finishing around 20:00-22:00, Free on-site parking and optional overtime at weekends for a premium rate. This role will include container work, with no handballing required.This role is based in Gloucester, Monday- Friday doing roughly 40 hours a week with opportunity to work Saturdays if required. This role involves container work and a company driving assessment will be required before starting.Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver goods driving a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle
• Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately
• Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
• Always deliver excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For:

• Hold a full, in-date UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence
• Hold a valid, in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Positive & professional 'can-do' attitude with customers
• Be a team player and take pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy
• Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
• Over the age of 21 (insurance purposes)
• Container experience is preferred but not essential
• Ability to pass company driving and theory assessment
