- Working Hours: Option for 4 days (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm) or part-time (Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday)
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to deliver BTEC Levels 2 and 3 courses. This temporary role is based in West London and offers flexibility with working days. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching H&SC BTEC courses and a passion for health and social care education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions for BTEC Levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Keep accurate records of students' attendance, assessments, and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in teaching BTEC Levels 2 and 3.
- Specialisation in Health and Social Care.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Commitment to professional development and learning.
- Relevant teaching qualification is preferred.
