The Role:We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. This site-based role involves overseeing health and safety compliance across multiple projects, auditing site activities, and reviewing method statements and risk assessments. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of experience looking to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
• Review and advise on method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
• Support site teams in implementing best practices and continuous improvement.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Liaise with project managers and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role within a contractor or subcontractor environment.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering site operations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Based locally to Thurrock / Grays or willing to commute.
