Health Care Assistant - Chase Medical : Job Details

A well-established and supportive GP surgery in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking an experienced HCA to join their dedicated clinical team. This is a permanent position with flexible hours ranging from 32-37.5 hours a week.

You'll be working autonomously within the nursing team, with responsibility for delivering high-quality care including:

• Carry out blood pressure monitoring and pulse checks
• Record height, weight, BMI, and other basic observations
• Undertake ECGs and urine testing
• Carry out NHS Health Checks and support chronic disease management reviews
• Administer specific vaccinations and B12 injections (following appropriate training and protocols)
• Support wound care and dressings
• Accurately record information and observations in the patient record using appropriate clinical systems

• A qualified and experienced HCA
• Confident in the above clinical areas
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
• Someone who is proactive, reliable, and a true team player
