Health and Safety / CDM Advisor - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyA leading organisation in aviation infrastructure and estates management is seeking a Health & Safety and CDM Advisor to join their team on a long-term contract basis, 3 days a week onsite. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, compliance, and operational excellence are at the forefront.As the H&S and CDM Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM and HSE regulations across both infrastructure projects and estates operations. You will play a key role in reviewing contractor documentation, conducting inspections, and supporting internal teams with safety procedures and training.

Your new roleKey Responsibilities Include:Projects Department:- Review and approve CDM and HSE documentation.- Conduct safety tours and performance reporting.- Evaluate contractor quality and commissioning documentation.- Participate in design development sessions for compliance.General Duties:- Manage contractor onboarding and H&S documentation.- Develop and implement safety procedures.- Issue and manage permits to work.- Support investigations and maintain accurate records.- Promote company values and contribute to community initiatives.Estates Department:- Maintain regulatory registers (LOLER, COSHH, PUWER).- Assess tools and equipment used by engineers and contractors.- Review and create risk assessments.- Conduct regular safety inspections and coordinate with contractors.- Provide training and guidance to internal engineers.What you'll need to succeed
