Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to inspire and guide the school community toward academic excellence and holistic development.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and review of the curriculum to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
- Manage, support, and develop teaching and support staff through effective recruitment, mentoring, and performance appraisal.

- Build strong partnerships with parents, whanau, local iwi, and the wider community to support student success.
- Oversee financial management, resource allocation, and the maintenance of school facilities.

- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout the school culture and practices.
- Maintain and champion health and safety standards for students and staff.

About the position and you:
You will bring to the role:
- Demonstrated strong leadership and comprehensive subject knowledge to inspire and motivate both students and staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the whole school community
- Ability to support and champion diverse learners across a variety of backgrounds and needs
- Registered, or eligible for registration, with the New Zealand Teaching Council
- Experience in New Zealand’s education system is highly desirable
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Teaching qualification and current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the New Zealand Teaching Council.
- Proven experience in secondary education leadership, preferably with exposure to STEM subjects.
- Strong skills in classroom management, communication, and staff leadership.
- Proficient in using digital tools and learning management systems to enhance teaching and school operations.
- Passionate about inspiring students and fostering their academic and personal development.
