Key Responsibilities

About the position and you:

You will bring to the role:

• Demonstrated strong leadership and comprehensive subject knowledge to inspire and motivate both students and staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the whole school community
• Ability to support and champion diverse learners across a variety of backgrounds and needs
• Registered, or eligible for registration, with the New Zealand Teaching Council
• Experience in New Zealand’s education system is highly desirable
• Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
• A passionate, compassionate, and student-centred approach to learning and wellbeing

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification and current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the New Zealand Teaching Council.
• Proven experience in secondary education leadership, preferably with exposure to STEM subjects.
• Strong skills in classroom management, communication, and staff leadership.
• Proficient in using digital tools and learning management systems to enhance teaching and school operations.
• Passionate about inspiring students and fostering their academic and personal development.
