Head of TechnicalLondon£120,000 + comprehensive package + bonus

Our client a well-established housebuilder, is seeking an experienced Head of Technical to lead the design and technical function across a portfolio of residential projects in London.

You will oversee the full technical lifecycle of multiple development projects, from pre-planning through to final delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the appointment and management of external consultants
• Overseeing all aspects of the design process, ensuring practical, sustainable, and buildable solutions
• Compliance of all relevant technical regulations and warranty provider standards
• Ensuring the seamless coordination of working drawing packages, regulatory approvals, and technical documentation
• Liaising with internal departments and external partners to support timely, cost-effective project delivery
• Leading on Health & Safety matters within the technical function, ensuring best practices are embedded from the outset
• Supporting business growth by mentoring and developing the internal technical team

Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior technical/design management role within multi-site residential development
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams
• Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to represent the business at board level, JV meetings, and client presentations
