Head of Sustainability - Semperian Business Support Ltd : Job Details

Semperian Group are looking to recruit a Head of Sustainability on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract basis. This role will be based working from home but with an expectation to travel as required. This role is a key position for the business, which will contribute to the overall success of Semperian through continued development and delivery of our sustainability objectives and strategy. Semperian are looking to enhance their existing response to sustainability as part of our overall ESG strategy and report to Investors and the wider public on the impact of their investments, whilst also being pivotal in building, driving and embedding the sustainability strategy and be accountable for a culture of sustainability across the business. Head of Sustainability Responsibilities

• Lead on the decarbonisation strategy for the Group and Portfolio
• Work with key delivery partners to deliver carbon reduction interventions
• Liaise with investors and support with ESG requests for information
• Report ESG updates to Group Executive on a monthly basis
• Provide sustainability insights to the Variations Quality Committee (VQC)
• Represent Semperian at the Government working group on Net Zero
• Lead the collection of ESG data from across the Group and Portfolio

Head of Sustainability Requirements

• You'll have considerable experience in the ESG and Sustainability field
• You have a strong understanding of ESG standards and frameworks, including but not limited to: GHG Protocol, PCAF, UNPRI, SASB, GRI, Science Based Target initiative
• Familiarity with corporate sustainability reporting regulatory requirements
• Understanding of strategic decarbonisation planning
• You will have a strong underlying knowledge of environmental issues, great research, and analytical skills, and lots of commitment to the cause.
• You are an excellent relationship builder. You build lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and consultants alike. You plan strategically and implement pragmatically.
• You are able to demonstrate project management skills.
• Successful DBS check of relevant level
