Jackson Hogg is pleased to be working with a busy FMCG organisation to appoint a Head of Supply Chain at their Sunderland site.

If you're a commercially focused supply chain leader who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment, enjoys blending strategy with hands-on delivery, and knows how to drive real value across procurement, planning, and logistics, this is one to consider.

About the Role

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the full end-to-end supply chain, from purchasing and demand planning through to warehousing and 3PL logistics. You'll lead a small, high-performing team and work cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence, supplier performance, and best in class internal service.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the supply chain team across procurement, planning, and logistics

• Own the S&OP process and align supply with demand across functions

• Drive supplier performance, value, and risk mitigation through strong commercial management

• Oversee inventory, warehousing, and 3PL performance

• Champion continuous improvement, process optimisation, best practice and data-driven planning

• Support new product launches and sustainability initiatives

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Senior supply chain leadership experience in FMCG

• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

• Confident managing contracts, logistics, and supplier performance

• Solid ERP/planning tool knowledge and analytical mindset

• A collaborative and agile approach, with excellent communication skills
