Introduction
Our client, a leading charity, is seeking a Head of Strategy to play a key role in shaping the organisation’s long-term direction. This is a permanent role, offered on a hybrid basis, and represents an excellent opportunity for a strategic thinker who is passionate about delivering impact.
As Head of Strategy, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the organisation’s strategic plan
- Provide expert advice to senior leaders and the Board on strategic priorities and risks
- Oversee the design of performance frameworks, KPIs and reporting to track organisational impact
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure strategic goals are embedded into business planning
- Analyse sector trends, opportunities and risks to inform decision-making
- Represent the organisation externally with stakeholders, partners and funders
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior strategy, planning or performance role, ideally within the charity, public or membership sector
- Strong background in risk management, performance measurement and data analysis
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience of working with Boards and senior leaders
- Ability to translate complex information into clear strategic advice and recommendations
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across diverse teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
