Head of Software Engineering – Bristol/London (Hybrid Remote) - £90-110kJavaScript/Typescript | B Corp | SaaS Platform | 30+ Holiday days | Flexible HoursAda Meher are proud to be partnering with a scaling B2B2C SaaS company with office space in both Bristol & London as they recruit a Head of Software Engineering to help them drive innovation and growth in their technical team. The successful candidate will be leading a team of 7 working on the architecture, delivery and development of new features for their flagship product, including working with the CTO on strategy and roadmap development.The current tech stack is MEAN focused with AI based components and serverless AWS deployments, so the ideal candidate with have a strong JavaScript/Typescript background with some knowledge or interest in cloud deployments and artificial intelligence. The role will involve a split of both hands on and hands-off work so applicants should be comfortable with the stack and also leading code reviews, mentoring and assigning project resource.As a B-Corp business, our client has a strong focus on social responsibility and well-being for their employees. • Experience leading a small Engineering team (5-10)
• Strong experience with JavaScript/Typescript Engineering (MEAN/MERN preferred)
• Experience with coaching and mentoring
• Experience working on a SaaS product
• Knowledge of B2B2C would be an advantage
• Knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure / Artificial Intelligence (AI) would be a benefit
