Role Sales Director - Head of Sales
Salary £55k - £70k Depending on Experience. OTE £130k Uncapped Exec Car Allowance
Location Glasgow (free on-site parking)
Hours Business Hours Mon- Fri – Full Time Perm Role
This is a role that would suit an experienced inspirational sales leader who has a background of managing team managers and high performing sales teams.
Perhaps you are a senior sales manager with the relevant experience who is looking for the next step or an experienced head of sales looking for an industry that only every innovates.
All industry backgrounds considered for this role as we are focussed on leadership qualities and someone to drive and motivate high performing sales professionals.
Sales Director Role
- Reporting to the Joint directors and being part of the senior leadership team.
- You will lead and drive results across 4 sales managers and their teams both desk and field based.
- Coaching, mentoring, and motivating your teams to successful delivery of targets.
- Be responsible for new ideas and strategies that can drive the sales department forward.
- Lead a team of sales managers to ensure maximum productivity and to continue to promote and add value to this winning environment and mentality.
- Understand how sales professionals operate and through your leadership strive to maximise potential across your division.
- Responsible for pipeline creation and forecasting against targets.
Your Sales Methodology
- Articulate and adhere to the company’s core principles for successfully managing sales professionals.
- Develop and embed the sales methodology into the business culture, ensuring it is adopted and the sales teams come on the journey.
- Maintain headcount targets for the sales department and oversee recruitment and induction process.
Sales Director Attributes
- All industry backgrounds considered if you are a passionate and inspirational sales leader who can show past success.
- You will have proven experience in successfully leading high-energy outbound sales teams or departments.
- You can spot opportunities and develop talent across the sales structure whilst delivering results to the business.
- Ideally you will have experience of leading internal and external sales teams.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Understands the concept and value in pipeline and how to forecast results.
- Takes responsibility and accountability for the sales function displaying impeccable leadership attributes and integrity.
- A passion for never ending improvement and the ability to communicate and mentor your vision to your team.
- Entrepreneurial approach to business development, with a strong commercial outlook.
