Head of Residential Conveyancing - Thornton Legal : Job Details

An established and leading legal practice based in Birkenhead are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to head up their Property department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their career further. The Role:You will be responsible for the professional lead, legal training, and supervision of the Property Group (sale & purchase, remortgage, transfer of equity & equity release) and delivery of a professional service by the teams to external and internal clients. To achieve required operational, financial and client service performance standards. To fully contribute to overall successful departmental and firm performance, effective business development and case intake.You will have a case load of Residential Property matters but the main focus will be on supervision, technical lead and performance management. The Ideal Candidate:You will have significant experience running a caseload of Residential Property matters. You will be self sufficient and will require minimum supervision.You will be able to provide monthly file reviews, be responsible for case supervision, provide a training plan, provide input and guidance so the firm maintains Lexcel and CQS accreditation.You will ensure all risk and compliance matters are adhered to.You will be able to develop and maintain business relationships for the firm.Excellent IT skills Able to prioritise work loads and work well individually and as part of a team.Salary and Benefits:Salary is in the region of 40,000 - 50,000 (negotiable), depending on experience.Hybrid workingPlease click apply.
