Head of Quality Control - WALKER COLE INTERNATIONAL LTD : Job Details

Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality Control to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the South East of England. As the Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading a team across both analytical chemistry and quality control testing.

Your responsibilities as the Head of Quality Control will be:

• Lead, develop and manage a team of quality control analyst and technicians.
• Oversee budget and executive responsibilities.
• Ensure all chemistry testing is carried out with developed, validated and approved methods.
• Work cross functionally with quality assurance and production to support seasonal and periodic increases in workload.
• A key member of the site leadership team.

To be the success candidate for the Head of Quality Control opportunity, you will demonstrate the following:

• Degree educated in chemistry, pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and / or research.
• Work experience in Quality Control and / or Analytical Chemistry.
• Previous experience of managing teams is essential
• Expert knowledge of HPLC.
