With the anticipation of Rent Reform in 2026, you will play a defining role in shaping our future, driving operational excellence, ensuring portfolio retention, and delivering a truly world-class experience for our landlords and tenants.The successful candidate will be a commercially astute, people-focused individual with the drive and capability to progress into a Director-level role. Key Responsibilities: What You'll Be Doing Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Develop and implement strategies to elevate operational efficiency and deliver world-class service across Property Services and Accounts.
- Take full ownership of the company’s strategic response to the Rent Reform Bill and related legislative changes, designing and implementing a compliant transition plan.
- Provide strategic direction on innovation, industry trends, and legislative change, maintaining our market-leading position.
- Drive cross-departmental collaboration to ensure a seamless and fully aligned value chain.
- Regularly re-evaluate workflows, identifying and closing internal/external service gaps.
Retention & Financial Performance
- Oversee the retention of the managed portfolio (targeting 90–95% annually), ensuring a relationship-driven approach.
- Optimise financial performance by maximising supplier commissions, increasing conversion rates, and improving income from diversified revenue streams.
- Monitor and manage cost control measures and actively strengthen the rent collection portfolio.
- Enhance Winchester White’s service proposition through innovative initiatives like webinars and educational resources.
Departmental Operations & Risk
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Property Services department, covering compliance, maintenance coordination, rent collection, deposit returns, and legal escalations.
- Continuously review and refine internal systems and databases (WW360, Salesforce) to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Take ownership of escalated landlord and tenancy disputes with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Ensure 100% legal compliance and serve as the company's responsible officer for AML.
People Leadership & Development
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a team of eight (and growing) property professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and motivated environment.
- Conduct regular one-to-one reviews, set clear KPIs, and build future leaders within the business.
