The Head Product Share Registration is accountable for the Global Proposition and Product line strategy, vision and objectives. The role ensures that the product line roadmap and prioritization aligns with the global product Line objectives and investment strategies. Head of Product works with the Director of Product, peers, and product managers to identify opportunities to simplify technology solutions and to identify new market opportunities and set pricing strategies in line with corporate policy and market benchmarks

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Product to set proposition and product strategy and vision
  • Engage with regional product and proposition line executives and directors, sales and account management to measure product performance and to identify market opportunities across the global product catalogue.
  • Engage with peers and product managers to identify common requirements and services to align product strategy, prioritization and ownership
  • Translate the vision into an ongoing product strategy and key goals to measure performance against. Develop and regularly calibrate metrics for the tribe
  • Accountable for product value, investment and retirement decisions and pricing strategies aligned to corporate policies and market benchmarks
  • Instils an inquisitive culture to support ideation and a commercial, entrepreneurial view to launch new products and services
  • Manage the entire product life cycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch maintenance. Drive, at a tribe level, the customer-centric experiences through the product cycle such as user research, UAT, user behaviour analysis
  • Demonstrate deep customer understanding and defines and owns customer segment strategy, market research, go to market / marketing funnel strategy and competitor research
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative research to assess the value of products and features in line with proposition priorities
  • Articulate high-level requirements and provide direction to Product Managers. Distil business goals into product requirements
  • Drive continuous product discovery to understand user needs and market opportunities and translate those solutions and product backlog across the tribe
  • Drive prioritisation of products; own the prioritisation and backlog management across the tribe
  • Support the product team by designing (and continuously contributing to improving) operational processes for running and maintenance of products or services throughout their Lifecycle
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and launch
  • Infuse a sense of ownership & pride amongst team members to deliver high-quality work outputs
  • Institute a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through hiring, internal movements, succession planning, talent reviews etc.
  • Enable a culture of continuous improvement and learning, by coaching team members and role-modelling self-development

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Any graduation preferably STEM subjects OR applicable work experience
  • MBA specialized in Systems / Product Strategy / Marketing
  • Significant Product Management experience in a software / product development
  • Proven experience of interfacing with global, cross-functional teams to drive product delivery
