You'll work closely with the owner and department heads to deliver outstanding operational results, drive business development, and foster an environment of continuous improvement.This role offers you the chance to:

  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee the smooth running of all operations while guiding, motivating, and developing a talented team of department heads.
  • Drive Growth: Be at the forefront of scaling the business, helping to expand our client base, grow our assets under management, and introduce new and exciting product verticals.
  • Shape the Future: Define and execute strategies that will enable our client to become one of the top 10 independently owned IFA businesses in the UK. This will include business plan and produce P&L forecasts.
  • Influence Key Decisions: Take ownership of operational strategies and set the direction for future growth, while closely monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and exceptional client service.
  • Strategic Leadership: Champion business growth by identifying new opportunities and leading the expansion into new verticals, while also enhancing existing services.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high-performing team, working closely with department heads to drive results and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Recruitment & Talent Management: Take charge of recruitment efforts, building a top-tier team that supports the company's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Oversight: Help manage the company's financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and resource optimization.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that all departments are delivering against business goals.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations adhere to FCA regulations, maintaining the highest standards of governance and risk management.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by seeking out new market opportunities, establishing partnerships, and diversifying the product offering.

What We're Looking For:We're seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader who has:

  • Proven Experience: Significant experience in an operational leadership role, ideally within the FCA-regulated financial advice space, with a track record of building and scaling businesses.
