We are seeking a capable Head of Membership to lead our membership strategy and operations during a key period of development and change.
This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving member satisfaction, strengthening our value proposition for members and colleagues, and contributing to the sustainable growth in the Federation.
About the Role:
As Head of Membership, you’ll oversee the full membership lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to engagement, retention, and renewal.
You’ll lead a dedicated team, collaborate across departments, and champion the voice of our members across the organisation. This is a highly strategic and operational role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute an ambitious membership strategy aligned with organisational goals.
Enhance member experience through improved communications, events, and sector-specific initiatives.
Lead and support a high-performing team with clear objectives and performance metricsleveraging our CRM system.
Monitor KPIs and generate insight-led reports for senior management.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the glass, glazing, and fenestration industries.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is both visionary and detail-oriented—an empathetic team leader with a flair for strategic thinking and a deep understanding of member engagement.
Essential Requirements:
Experience managing membership services or customer engagement strategies.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to deliver day-to-day operational excellence.
Knowledge of CRM systems, financial planning, and performance reporting.
Able to coach and develop team members to reach their full potential.

Location: Home based (with travel required), plus £5,000 per annum car allowance
