Our client, a mid-size Asset Manager with a unique culture and approach to investment are looking to add to their highly regarded Marketing team. This is a newly created role that will support the Chief Marking Officer with managing Marketing Operations of the broader department, ensuring the marketing strategy is executed through operations to strengthen sales delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Day-to-day liaison with the sales team and ensuring requirements are fulfilled and to deadline.
- Overseeing and managing sub-teams within Marketing (Reporting, RFPs, Presentations, Literature, Investment Writing, Merchandise, Events and other Operations).
- Ensuring Operations complies with the firms brand and internal processes and procedures.
- Working with the CMO on executing the strategy for Marketing Operations.
- Implementing marketing plans across the sub-marketing teams for both the UK and international markets.
- Liaising with the sales team in the UK and internationally to ensure requirements are fulfilled and to deadline.
- Managing funds reporting and responding to incoming client questions and issues.
- Overseeing Marketing’s role in product launches and changes.
- Developing and implementing processes and systems to ensure the highest quality of work, that deadlines are met, and efficiencies and productivity is delivered across the sub-teams.
- Collaborating with the Digital Marketing team on ensuring reporting is delivered to the relevant clients on a timely basis.
- Ensure information used across the Marketing team, including by the digital marketing team, is up to date and accurate.
- Reporting regularly to the CMO on progress, successes and challenges including measuring the effectiveness of processes and systems.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships internally and externally, including with partners, other internal departments, agencies and suppliers.
Background & Experience
- A demonstrable track record of people management experience across marketing within Asset Management essential.
- Proven generalist marketing experience in a similar role covering presentations, RFP’s, Investment Writing, Operations and Literature.
- Previous experience of dealing with external agencies.
- Experience of delivering an executing a marketing strategy.
- Solid industry awareness across Asset Management landscape coupled with a good understanding of the regulatory impacts.
- A good understanding of the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime and how it applies to the role.
- Previous exposure to process and technology improvements.
