Job Summary:
To be a key player in shaping how DX connects and communicates with its customers and the wider market. Developing a new Marketing Strategy and Leading the implementation of Marketing plans, working closely with the CEO, Head of Sales & Commercial and the MDs on go-to-market initiatives. Also responsible for Proposition Development, Market Intelligence, Bid Management and production of customer proposals, etc. Leading campaigns to reposition the business, raising DX’s profile significantly, and playing a major role in implementing the strategy to accelerate our growth and expand our services and market presence!
Main Responsibilities:
- Guardian of the DX brand. Oversee brand positioning and messaging, ensuring that the company’s voice and image are consistent across all marketing channels. This includes developing and maintaining brand guidelines.
- Owning the content, look and feel of our external websites, LinkedIn sites, Wiki, etc.
- Lead the charge on all Marketing activities, via all necessary channels, e.g. digital marketing, campaigns, launches, conferences, white papers, thought leadership, etc. Owning all the tools, e.g. SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), email marketing, social media, and content strategy. Responsible for developing and implementing digital campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Leading the development new propositions, targeting our capabilities at specific customer sectors and sub-segments. Including engaging internally and with customers on better articulation of Value Propositions
- Responsible for managing all Bids and creation of customer proposals, by coordinating input from with Sales & BD teams, the Head of Commercial and Solutions Design, etc.
- Analysing digital campaign performance allowing DX to identify what is working and what is not. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and stay ahead of digital marketing trends.
- Conducts market analysis and competitor research to gather insights into market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics. Use this information to identify customer segments, understand their needs and preferences, and tailor marketing strategies accordingly. Ensures that the company’s marketing efforts are relevant, targeted, and effective in meeting customer needs.
- Allocates resources for various marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring that funds are used efficiently and effectively. Monitor the ROI of marketing activities, adjusting spending as necessary to achieve the best results. This involves making strategic decisions about where to invest in marketing efforts, whether it be in digital advertising, content creation, or other marketing channels.
- Report on marketing performance to the ELT, providing insights into the effectiveness of marketing strategies and their impact on business goals. This involves preparing and presenting detailed reports and dashboards that highlight key metrics and achievements.
- Manages relationships with key external partners, such as advertising agencies, vendors, and media outlets. By building and maintaining strong relationships with these partners, ensures that the company can leverage external expertise and resources to enhance its marketing efforts.

- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills. This involves the ability to view the bigger picture while also paying attention to detail.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal communication skills that give the internal teams confidence in you and the organisation
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with a variety of different teams. Confidence to deal with senior executives and to guide them on best practice.
- Creative skills: Creative ability to devise communication strategies and execute in the most engaging way
- Technical skills: Use of Adobe suite to create still and moving content. Knowledge & experience of Microsoft 365. Generally, technically savvy to switch between new and emerging platforms to deliver the best content.
