Overview:A leading manufacturing business is seeking a hands-on Head of Manufacturing to oversee daily operations and drive performance across a busy production site. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is key to ensuring productivity, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and improve all plant operations
• Drive KPIs across productivity, quality, and cost
• Manage a mixed workforce of permanent and agency staff
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and finance teams
• Embed Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement culture
• Oversee HR processes and team development
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Support large-scale engineering projects

Requirements:

• Proven leadership in manufacturing operations
• Strong engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical)
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and change management
• Skilled in managing diverse teams and HR processes
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Senior leadership team experience preferred
