What You'll Do:

As Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role in launching and leading an entirely new department focused on high-volume finance mis-selling claims. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Overseeing the establishment and ongoing management of the financial mis-selling division, ensuring all operational aspects are set up for long-term success.
• Designing and implementing automated processes using technology and AI to streamline high-volume claims handling and maximise efficiency.
• Providing expert guidance on claimant-side litigation strategies across PPI, Dieselgate, Plevin, and other financial mis-selling cases.
• Collaborating with senior leadership to align legal operations with broader business objectives in a private equity context.
• Recruiting and developing a high-performing team of paralegals and legal professionals, flexing team size according to business needs.

What You Bring:

To excel as Head of Legal, you will bring substantial expertise from claimant-side roles dealing with complex finance mis-selling cases. Your background should also include:

• Qualified in England & Wales with senior experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage or supervise teams of paralegals or junior lawyers in high-volume litigation settings.
• Strong understanding of how technology and AI can be leveraged to automate routine legal tasks and improve efficiency.
• Commercial mindset with experience operating in environments where process optimisation drives business outcomes.
