After years of strong domestic growth, our Oxford-based engineering and manufacturing business is now entering an exciting new phase: international expansion.With operations until now focused solely on the UK, we are now actively building our footprint across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. To support this strategic shift, we are hiring our first Head of International Tax – a newly created, permanent role reporting directly to the Group CFO.This is a rare opportunity to build an international tax function from the ground up, directly shaping how we grow globally while maintaining compliance and efficiency in a fast-paced, scaling environment.The RoleAs Head of International Tax, you will take full ownership of the company’s global tax agenda, supporting international market entry, legal structuring, compliance, and strategic tax planning. Your responsibilities will include:Designing and delivering a robust international tax frameworkAdvising on cross-border structuring, local tax implications, and new entity setupManaging direct and indirect tax exposure in new marketsLeading on transfer pricing and intercompany arrangementsCollaborating with commercial and finance teams on tax-efficient business modelsActing as the principal liaison with external tax advisors and local tax authoritiesMonitoring tax risk and ensuring compliance across jurisdictionsEstablishing scalable systems and processes to support global growthWhat We’re Looking ForProven expertise in international tax, ideally within a scaling or multinational organisationStrong technical knowledge of corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST, and global tax structuringCommercial awareness and the ability to align tax strategy with international growth objectivesHands-on, delivery-focused approach – comfortable balancing strategic vision with day-to-day detailConfident communicator and cross-functional collaboratorACA/CTA-qualified or equivalent preferredWhy Join Us?This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role at a pivotal moment in our journey.
