Head of Financial Reporting - Robert Half : Job Details

We are looking for an Ex-Auditor, now in a senior financial reporting role, from a large, listed business to join one of World's largest media and advertising companies as a Head of Financial Reporting. Paying £85k and based in Central London (Hybrid Working), this role is being recruited for due to an internal promotion and will report into the Finance Director.

The Role

• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Assist with any adjustments between Group and statutory reporting.
• Responsible for ensuring the month-end close activities for all balance sheet tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Liaise with Group and internal and external audit on any technical accounting areas and changes in Group policies.
• Coordinate and review the monthly balance sheet queries for corporate reporting and submit responses within deadline. Manage promptly any additional balance questions follow-up questions received.
• Responsible for the integrity of balance sheet reporting from the local ERP to the Group consolidation systems. Understand and resolve any reconciling items.

Your Profile

• You will need to have originally trained in Audit.
• Recent experience within a financial reporting function of a large, listed business is essential.
• Those who are still working in Audit and in practice are unfortunately not eligible to apply.
• All applicants must be fully qualified with a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience.
