Job Description :

MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a Head of Financial, Planning and Analysis for a large organisation based in Suffolk. Reporting into the CFO you will lead and develop the Financial Planning and Analysis Business Partners in delivering a high quality service to all stakeholders, providing financial insight and focusing on improving the financial performance and sustainability of the organisation.

The role will partner with the Management Accounts team and Business Units to lead monthly variance analysis providing commercial oversight and knowledge, communicating results to the CFO and deputising for them when required.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

- Evaluating investment appraisals and business cases to ensure maximum benefit is being generated for the organisation.

- Acting as as a key commercial partner to the leadership team by providing analytical support for strategic initiatives and identifying growth opportunities.

- Providing strategic and insightful management information, support and recommendations to the Business Units based on analysis of operational performance, economic trends & competitor landscape.

- Oversee the production of the monthly consolidated management accounts with associated commentary.

- Lead the FP&A team in acting as trusted Business Partners to the Business Unit Directors and Senior Leadership Team by building effective working relationships in order to maximise financial opportunities and reduce risk for the business.

- Ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled regularly by the Management Accounts Team.

You must be a qualified Accountant with experience in a financial analysis role or experience in positions providing financial business insights in a complex business environment. You will also have previously managed a team and worked with a senior leadership team to improve performance. You will also thrive in a fast moving environment with a high sense of urgency and accountability.

Salary : 60000 - 65000
