With a proud heritage and a bold new identity, my client is the fresh face of a much-loved British brand who have been backed by specialist retail investors, they are on a mission to become "Your Hub of the High Street".We're looking for a strategic, commercially astute, and results-driven Head of Financial Accounting to join their senior leadership team in a newly created role. This is a pivotal leadership role offering autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to shape the financial future of a trusted retail name.

What You'll Do

• Lead and inspire the Financial Accounting team, ensuring high standards and delivery of key objectives
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, statutory cashflow, and compliance with IAS 17 and IFRS 16
• Own weekly cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Enhance financial systems and processes for greater efficiency and compliance
• Ensure robust financial controls and manage audit processes
• Support new business initiatives with accurate financial planning and integration

What You'll Bring

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with ~5 years post-qualified experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Deep understanding of IFRS 16, IFRS, and UK GAAP
• Advanced data analysis and financial interpretation skills
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and Board members
