Head of Finance - Morgan Law : Job Details

I am currently recruiting for an interim Head of Finance to work in their Resources and Chief Exec's department on a 6 month (minimum) contract basis.Your day to day will cover the following:

• Lead a finance team supporting corporate and chief executive directorates, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Finance lead for Workforce & Transformation Programme, contributing to £6m savings through efficiency and workforce redesign.
• Overseeing £4.2m budget as Cost Centre Manager, ensuring budget monitoring and narrative is completed on time.
• Member of Capital Assurance Panel, embedding robust financial challenge and contract value assurance.
• Supporting development and challenge of service saving and growth proposals, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and long-term sustainability.
• Providing financial implications, scenario modelling and options appraisal.
• Working closely with directors, executive directors and other stakeholders to ensure robust financial management and reporting across two directorates.

Hybrid working arrangements are in place for this role - the team meet once a week on site, and 100% remote working is not a preferred option.
