Head of Finance 

Location: Leeds 

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Car Allowance & Excellent Bonus & Benefits 

We’re exclusively partnered with a fast-growing, Yorkshire-based business that is entering an exciting new phase of growth. The company has built an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service, and now seeks a dynamic and commercially minded Head of Finance to join the senior leadership team.

This is a highly visible role, reporting at Board level and offering the opportunity to make a real impact on both the strategic direction and day-to-day performance of the business. You’ll be responsible for leading the Finance function, driving financial performance, and acting as a trusted partner across operations and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls, and best-in-class processes.

• Own management accounts, board reporting, and KPIs, delivering actionable insights that influence decision-making.

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling to support strategic growth plans.

• Provide commercial challenge on pricing, investment cases, and profitability to maximise returns.

• Manage cashflow, funding requirements, and relationships with external stakeholders.

• Oversee audit, payroll, pensions, and compliance while driving process and system improvements.

• Act as a visible business partner, contributing to strategic and operational discussions at SLT and Board level.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

• Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role.

• Strong technical background with commercial acumen and strategic mindset.

• Hands-on, personable, and credible with the ability to influence at Board level.

• Experience working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where pace and adaptability are key.
