This is a pivotal role for someone who has “been there and done it” — a seasoned finance leader who can bring structure, stability, and strategic insight to a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities•    Lead and develop the finance team (currently 12, including 2 direct reports)•    Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting•    Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and systems (AI, automation, robotics)•    Ensure compliance with financial regulations including MiFIDPRU, CASS, and capital adequacy•    Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business growth•    Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders•    Support the integration of new hires and team restructuring following recent changesWhat We’re Looking ForMust-Haves:•    Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)•    Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role•    Strong background in financial services (investment/trading preferred)•    Experience managing managers and growing teams•    Track record of improving processes and driving efficiencies•    Strong business partnering and FP&A capabilitiesNice-to-Haves:•    Experience in a partnership or LLP structure•    Exposure to AI, automation, or finance transformation projects•    Comfortable navigating legacy systems and modernizing them•    Deep understanding of CASS, MiFIDPRU, and capital regulationsThis is a unique opportunity to be part of a respected, long-standing firm with a forward-thinking mindset.
