Head of Finance

Manchester - £70,000pa - £75,000pa

We are supporting a fantastic business based in Manchester looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role is full time on site but offering fantastic benefits. Successful candidates must ideally have experience at senior finance level within an engineering/construction/manufacturing business.

Responsibilities as a Head of Finance:

• Develop and execute company’s financial strategy, including long term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee cashflow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed/required.
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside management reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and key financial stakeholders.
• Provide financial updates and insights to the board and executive team.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

Requirements of the role:

• ACCA/CIMA/equivalent qualified.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable.
• Previous experience as Head of Finance/Financial Controller within an Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience of preparation in draft of tax/stats accounts.
