Head of Finance - Kenneth Brian Associates Limited : Job Details

Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well-respected business whose H/Q are based in Gatwick, West Sussex. Our client are looking to hire an experienced and Qualified Financial Controller working at their offices (5 days per week) with on-site parking.

The role involves regional consolidations, audit, statutory accounts, tax, VAT returns and controls. Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about statutory accounting.

Description

• Manage the annual statutory audit cycles across all of the Europe entities
• Manage any internal audit requests
• Oversee preparation of statutory accounts for all legal entities
• Work closely with advisor's to ensure completion + filing in line with local deadlines
• Track + minimise accounting differences between management and statutory accounts
• Maintain good working relationship with key stakeholders
• Ensure robust internal controls exist
• Submission of statistical returns across the group
• Updates to wider business on audit processes + importance of internal controls
• Support of broader finance team deliverables + projects
• Line management of junior staff members
• Process staff payroll

Profile:

• Qualified - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Previous all round accounting experience
• Strong Excel

Person Specification:

• A fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience of producing Stat accounts
• Technically strong accounting skills
• Excellent communication skills
