This part time position calls for a highly organised and strategic Head of Finance who will lead the accounting and finance department in a not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and contributing to the overall financial strategy of the organisation.

Description

  • Overseeing all financial operations within the organisation
  • Leading and managing the accounting & finance team
  • Developing and implementing financial strategy in line with the company's goals
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and budgets
  • Ensuring the organisation's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
  • Analysing the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future
  • Interacting with external auditors and manage internal controls
  • Maintaining and fostering relationships with partners and stakeholders

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A formal qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in leading a finance team, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of financial strategy and management
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership abilities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear way
