Head of Finance | Fast-growth Health & Wellness Brand | London/Hybrid

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growth health & wellness brand in their search for a Head of Finance The business has grown exponentially in the D2C market with an increasing reach across Europe and America. It is an exciting time to join the business as they are in the process of expanding their team, scaling up their operations and pursuing external investment.

The company is made up of a friendly, vibrant, and high energy team who understand hard work and always putting their best foot forward. The team is around 30 people as it stands but this will increase in the coming years as they look to build out their internal finance function. Their turnover stands at around £30m, with predictions to double this in the next year and so on.

This role offers flexibility to work hybrid, but there should be expectations to work in the office around 3 days a week.

The Role:

This role presents the opportunity to work in a very rapidly growing team, overseeing the entire finance function. The ideal candidate would like to excel their career progression and not shy away from new opportunities to learn and develop. The perfect candidate has shown great academic achievements, consistent development and are ready to take on an all-rounded finance role.

Responsibilities:

• Own month end and management accounts
• Take full responsibility for financial controls and statutory accounting
• Identifying opportunities for change and driving this for company efficiency
• Manage FP&A for the business and departmental budgets
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Introduce financial modelling to create extensive reports and analysis
• Create board packs and relevant narratives
• Manage an outsourced book-keeping function

What we need to see (essential):

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
• Experience in Beauty / Consumer Goods / Food and Beverages / FMCG or relevant D2C industries
• Experience working in a scale-up or within small high-performance teams
• Great communication skills with experience working with outsourced departments
• Excellent attention to numerical details
• Experience with financial modelling
• Desire to work in a growing business

Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 depending on qualification status

Location: West London (3 days a week in office expected)
