Head of Digital and eCommerce - The Candidate Ltd : Job Details

Head of Digital & Ecommerce - D2C Retail (Automotive) - £65,000-£75,000 - Cheshire

This is a new role to the group, tasked with growing/developing an internal team, owning x3 Shopify websites, managing P&L and driving strategic growth over the next 1-2 years.

Ideally you will be happy working both strategically and being involved in day-to-day hands on activity with the support of agencies/freelancers where needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead eCommerce / Digital function for x3 DTC websites
• Oversee P&L for each of Shopify sites
• Devise eCommerce/Digital strategy that aligns with wider group objectives
• Hire, train & develop a multi-channel in-house team (circa x4 in 0-24m)
• Oversee website optimisation and channel performance with agency support for delivery
• Collaborate with trading team to improve conversion
• Track, analyse & report on campaign performance to key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience owning D2C websites
• Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred
• An interest in Automotive is preferred but not essential
• Comfortable being involved in campaign delivery and growing a department
• Strategic thinker capable of devising medium/long-term strategies
• Confident communicator and comfortable managing multiple stakeholder relationships
