We are working exclusively on this exciting new leadership role for a respected UK-based body at the forefront of its sector. This is a newly created position designed to bring together several income-generating teams under a single strategic vision, driving growth and diversification. If you have a proven track record of delivering revenue growth through effective leadership and commercial strategy, this opportunity offers real scope to make an impact.
Reporting to a senior executive, you’ll lead three core commercial areas: training sales, advertising and sponsorship for an established industry journal, and customer engagement services.
Your focus will be to deliver year-on-year growth by strengthening sales processes, developing new revenue streams, and driving collaboration across multiple teams. Customers range from corporates and SMEs to public sector organisations and trade bodies, with senior decision-makers typically in HR, L&D, and marketing leadership roles. The organisation is looking for someone who can identify opportunities, join up thinking across business areas, and deliver measurable results.
We are seeking a commercially astute leader who thrives on acting as an agent of change while supporting and coaching experienced teams. You will have experience in income generation, business development, and commercial leadership, ideally gained in a membership body, professional association, or related environment.
Knowledge of training, events, publishing, or sponsorship sales will be highly advantageous, alongside strong stakeholder engagement and proven ability to embed best practice sales methodologies. The right person will bring both strategic insight and hands-on leadership to drive performance across diverse revenue streams.
