A well-established accounting firm in East Berkshire is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Accountant to step into a senior leadership role. This is a rare opportunity to join a close-knit team of 9 professionals and take on a pivotal position that blends strategic oversight, team development, and client engagement.

Role Overview:

• Lead and mentor a team of three client managers
• Oversee quality control and final reviews of accounts and tax returns
• Attend key client meetings and elevate team performance in client interactions
• Manage three administrative staff and coordinate outsourced support
• Contribute to business development and networking (optional)

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts, tax, and client advisory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in a small or medium-sized practice preferred
