On behalf of our client, a psychological rehabilitation specialist, we are excited to bring to market an exciting opportunity for a Head of Business Development.
Reporting to the General Manager, the key responsibility for the role is to ensure there is a clear strategic direction as to target marks & propositions. Identifying opportunity for cross selling, and the development of an integrated plan for all joint customers plus an individual plan for customers who only buy "single service". Through this and working cohesively with operational and clinical colleagues the businesses will achieve target year on year.
General/Additional Duties:
Working in close effective liaison with the senior management teams in each business and operating as a key member of this emerging leadership team in the group.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Due to the sector-focused expertise required for the Head of Business Deveopment, previous strong sector experience within the B2B Healthcare Services market is vital to be successful in "hitting the ground running" as would experience in the personal injury, clinical negligence and rehabilitation markets.
The successful candidate will also need to be able demonstrate proven successful experience of:
Operating as a hands-on proactive "results oriented" professional combining sales & marketing expertise with wider commercial/business understanding
Successful development of growth plans and high performing teams.
Effective integration and growth of multiple services and business operations would also be an advantage.
Ability to identify opportunities for and to close deals and be comfortable negotiating safe and profitable contracts for those.
Engaging with customers, truly listening to their needs and acting with the clinical / operational teams to develop products and processes to meet those.
An attention to detail and the ability to glean business intelligence from data you will help gather with the General Manager for the businesses.
Excellent communication ability in writing, and oral presentation with competent use of Microsoft, Word, Excel, Power Point and preferable Power BI.
Energetic and "switched on" style/approach, keen and able to "make your mark" to successfully develop your career with this ambitious, high growth entrepreneurial Group.
Work flexibly to attend meetings with customers and attend industry events which can be UK wide.
The position offers REMOTE working with travel as required
Excellent salary & benefits & uncapped commission
Salary : 55000 - 65000
