We are looking to recruit an experienced Handyperson to join the voids team for a local social housing contractor within the Westminster area.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out basic repairs and installations of window and door ironmongery, stair nosings, benches, decking, fencing, erecting blinds, curtain and shelves.
• Hanging internal and external doors and installing ironmongery
• Replacing ceiling tiles and a variety of light bulbs
• Preparation work for internal and external decorating and decorating a variety of surfaces including timber, metal and masonry.
• Replacing and installing a variety of signage
• Unblocking a variety of gullies, grates and drains.
• Paving slab replacements and basic brickwork
• Blocking a variety of holes to help proof against rodents
• Ensuring that all tools are readily available at the beginning of each shift so that workers can begin their work on time

Requirements:

• CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker)
• Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
• Basic Criminal Record Check
