GRP Laminator Fibreglass - Contract Personnel Limited : Job Details

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Fibreglass Laminators based in the South Norfolk area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with fibreglass materials and moulds to produce high-quality automotive components.

Own transport is essential. 

This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Read and understand lay-up drawings and use laminating skills to carry out the required workload to the lay-up specification
• Preparing moulds, applying release agents, and laying fibreglass matting and resin
• Apply layers of gel to mould surfaces prior to placement of fibreglass mat, repeating layers until products have the desired thickness
• Identifying and repairing defects in GRP components
• Mask off mould areas which are not to be laminated, using cellophane, wax paper, masking tape, or special sprays containing mould-releasing substances
• Any other duties as required

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:30

Experience/skills required:

• GRP Laminating experience essential
• Adaptable: being able to adjust to changing situations and learn new things
• Good work ethic 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to learn
