Alongside ownership of group reporting, you’ll lead key aspects of FP&A, partner with senior leadership on M&A, due diligence, and acquisition integration, while strengthening controls and ensuring best-practice reporting across the group.It’s a standout career move for a practice trained ACA ready for a more strategic, global-facing role. Importantly, this position is also seen as part of the group’s succession planning for the UK Finance Director, giving a clear pathway for future progression.What You’ll Do
- Deliver accurate and timely group consolidations, statutory accounts, and financial reporting
- Lead statutory reporting, tax compliance, external audit, and company secretarial duties
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A process, delivering high-quality analysis and insight to the CFO and board
- Prepare and present board-level reports that influence strategic decision-making
- Partner directly with the CFO on M&A projects, due diligence, and post-deal integration
- Develop and implement stronger financial controls and governance frameworks across the group
- Provide technical accounting support to UK and overseas subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and consistency across all entities
- Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment, growth, and acquisition decisions
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, auditors, and external advisors to maintain strong relationships and effective communication
What We’re Looking For
- ACA qualified with 3+ years’ PQE
- Solid experience in statutory accounts and consolidations
- Strong skills in financial modelling, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting
- Confident communicator, able to present complex data to senior leaders clearly
- Proactive, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
- Commercially minded, with the ambition to step up into a globally scaling group
