The Role:
As Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to the Board, Executive Committee, and external stakeholders. This is a high-profile role that will see you work closely with senior finance leadership, including the Group Financial Controller and CFO, while overseeing the delivery of consolidated group results under IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of the Group’s consolidated financial statements (interim and year-end)
- Coordinate the external audit process, ensuring smooth interaction with auditors and timely sign-off
- Prepare and review technical accounting papers, keeping abreast of changes in IFRS and ensuring group compliance
- Partner with finance teams across the group to standardise and improve reporting processes and controls
- Oversee monthly management reporting consolidation and deliver high-quality commentary and insights
- Support the delivery of the annual report and other regulatory filings
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting tools, and internal controls
- Assist in ad hoc projects such as M&A, restructuring, and system implementations
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong technical background at a Big 4/Top 10 firm
- Significant post-qualified experience in a group finance or external audit role
- Proven experience preparing consolidated accounts under IFRS
- Strong understanding of listed company reporting requirements and governance expectations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across functions
- Experience in the renewables, energy, or infrastructure sectors is advantageous but not essential
