Role - Group IT Manager;

Leading both the Infrastructure and Service teams, we are looking for someone to hit the ground running by managing a small, but strong IT services and infrastructure team as part of an established but growing group of companies.

Our primarily priority is to find someone comfortable with owing responsibility for all elements of our infrastructure and services, a safe pair of hands, with exemplary levels of customer service, to ensure that our people are not only working seamlessly, are protected and that we are exploring opportunities to drive efficiencies through technology.

The role will manage a team of three, and report into the COO.In the first 90 days we would be looking for someone to come in and review the existing set up and identify any priorities for action, particularly around security.We are therefore looking for someone who has either managed a small-medium IT function or has the experience, desire and responsibility to take the next step up.

Aside from BAU, two of our companies are driven by tech, and we are currently investing in a new ERP therefore there are opportunities to get involved in wider projects where appropriate.

Responsibilities- Group IT Manager;

• Full responsibility for IT and Security across all areas of the business including daily operations of network and server infrastructure.
• Managing and Mentoring the IT team driving the highest levels of delivery and customer service, owning and managing IT systems support services and SLAs.
• Experience and up to date knowledge of cyber security to ensure the business is protected at all times.
• Lead the identification, development and implementation of key IT and telecoms solutions to support the requirements of the group.
• Act as the key technical escalation point.
• Support implementation of new technology within IT, proactively seek to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction, supporting the drive towards cloud based and automation technologies.
• Manage and maintain the IT Budget and spend ensuring value for money and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure all required technical documentation is created and maintained.
• Own end to end delivery of IT projects, from inception to implementation.

Essential experience - Group IT Manager;

• Strong technical knowledge of MS Intune & EMS.
• Proficient across Azure Cloud Services.
• Solid experience in IT, Endpoint and Network Security.
• Excellent understanding of Active Directory, in an Azure Hybrid environment.
• Technical knowledge of Windows Servers.
• Hand on experience of Linux/Unix.
• Strong Networking skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, Powerbi and Power apps.

Desired;

• Azure Sentinel/Siem experience
• Cyber Essentials
• Experience planning, forecasting and effectively managing project risk
• Deep understanding of project methodologies

• A strong communicator (both written and verbal) with attention to detail
• Experience of responsibility for leading and managing a small team.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent customer service.
• High levels of ownership and responsibility.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a relationship builder
