Description
- Leading the indirect tax reporting across the UK and Europe and ensuring all reporting and payment deadlines are effectively me
- Working closely with the business to drive system process change and improve the indirect tax reporting within the different business units
- Management of the Indirect Tax team, specifically the Tax Accountants responsible for in-country compliance obligations.
- Delivery of Indirect Tax training to the business as required.
- Management of the year end Indirect Tax audit process for the UK and Europe
Profile
A successful Group Indirect Tax Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in tax or accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, CTA or qualified by experience.
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax and customs tax
- Proven ability to manage tax compliance and advisory functions effectively.
- Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and concisely.
