Job Description :

Due to recent internal movements and well-deserved promotions within our People Team, we are now seeking a talented and visionary Group Head of People to step into a high-impact, strategic role at the heart of our organisation.

Working closely with our Group Director of People, you’ll play a key role in embedding a progressive and inclusive culture across our group of companies. This isn’t just a senior HR position—it’s your opportunity to lead from the front, align people strategies with business growth, and ensure our people remain at the centre of everything we do.

Please note this role in not a remote role or Hybrid but full time in the office

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, coach, and empower the HR team to deliver outstanding service.
  • Develop and implement innovative HR strategies aligned to business goals.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee core HR functions: Employee Relations, Engagement, Admin, Reward, and HR systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and team capability.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Promote a positive, inclusive culture where people thrive.
  • Advise and guideline managers through complex ER cases and leadership development.

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure full compliance with employment law and HR best practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of people policies across the group.

Reward & Recognition

  • Manage payroll data and support a compelling benefit and reward strategy.

Performance & Change

  • Champion performance culture, talent development, and organisational change.
  • Use data and KPIs to inform strategy and improve outcomes.

Diversity & Inclusion

  • Ensure D&I is central to everything we do—aligning with our values and business vision

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR strategy, and operational excellence.
  • Inspirational leadership and strong people management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proven experience using HR metrics and KPIs.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern HR systems.
