Group Financial Reporting Manager - MB Connected : Job Details

We are exclusively supporting one of our clients who are listed and based in Rugby. With an impressive track record of acquisitions, this dynamic business is expanding rapidly and looking to strengthen its finance function. The Group Financial Reporting Manager will play a key role in shaping and enhancing the company’s financial reporting processes, supporting its ambitious growth trajectory.

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process for the group, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This is a unique opportunity for a talented finance professional to work within a highly acquisitive environment, contributing to growth and success.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the Group, ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
• Manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all necessary information is provided promptly.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including management reporting packs for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of robust financial reporting policies and procedures

Key requirements:

• ACA qualified looking for a second or third move into industry, or ACCA qualified with experience in a fast-paced business
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Previous experience in financial reporting, ideally with exposure to consolidations and managing a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
