JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Group’s finance & accounting management incl. accounts payable, credit control, banking reconciliation, quarterly VAT & year-end accounts/tax filing. Liaise with accountants, bookkeepers, banks & tax authorities of UK & international jurisdictions of business operations.
  • Timely analyse, report, forecast & budget to strategically plan for improved business performance & drive revenues growth. Cost/margins/cashflow manage on each brand/project/location across the group for sales of products, service & projects.
  • Research & maintain updated knowledge on relevant regulations on finance/tax (incl. investments, grants & incentives)/import-export duty to advise on business strategy (U.K & in countries of operation).
  • Undertake HR administration & work with Directors across the Group/ departments to improve overall organisation efficiency, business performance & Group culture. Set up Group/company policies on finance, governance & employment.
  • Upgrade key business procedures, assess & implement process/technology automation/integration (e.g. finance/accounting with E-Comms, CRM, PDM, project management/timesheets).
  • Commercialisation of DEPLOY & The WorkWell/StayWell through strategic project sequencing

JOB SPECIFICATION:

The WorkWell EC1

- Executive Management of Group-Wide Business Administration & Performance: Oversee group finance, administration, operations, HR. Lead team to identify/assess opportunities, cost manage, set targets & drive revenue growth for improved business performance & brand visibility.

- Operational Finance Management: Manage/improve current structure of management accounting (incl. report, analysis, budget, forecast) & financial control functions (incl. taxes, banking, credit ratings, pension, insurances & financing options) to report/advise Directors on decisions & growth strategies.

- Client/Licenses Management: Review WorkWell client services provision, pricing structure & license agreement to improve business offering, performance & optimise asset/revenue streams.

- Group Systems Integration: Implement/integrate/streamline key processes incl. finance accounting, resource management (project/team, finance/asset), data/digital platforms, HR administration/recruitment & training.

DEPLOY

- Finance Management: Manage/control all financial affairs incl. accounts/bookkeep, cashflow/P&L, budgets/forecasting, taxes/banking, insurances/contracts.

- Business Performance Analysis: Per event/seasonal budgeting, analysis & advise on sales, margins, merchandising & marketing by products & market to improve profitability & drive revenues growth.

- Business Development: Work with Chiefs to facilitate growth strategies.

Harry Dobbs Design

- Business Accounts Management: Manage & control finance/accounts affairs incl. accounts receivable, international banking/currencies transactions, insurances, contract values/fee structure/payment scheduling.

- Project Finance Management: Review/upgrade/streamline processes for job costing/timesheet, project pipeline/cashflow projection, quality assurance & resource planning.

The StayWell

- French Accounts/Tax Liaison/Management: Liaise with French Accountant & Tax Authorities to ensure correct setup of bookkeep SOP & up-to-date filing of StayWell & Director’s trading compliance.

Requirements

  • A driven and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong track record of hands-on SME business experience in service, consumer products, e-comms, or tech industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with vision & integrity to immerse in group ethos & business mission, advise on business decisions, implement strategies & deliver results for growth.
  • Systematic & methodical approach with accuracy, thoroughness & accountability.
  • Structured management approach with inter-personal/communications skills to train/enable team internally & aptly represent businesses externally.
  • Proactive, strategic & pragmatic with a can-do attitude to strengthen group capability.
  • Numerically proficient & technology savvy.
  • An understanding of Industry Standards and Quality Control processes.
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in finance management.

Salary : 45000 - 60000
