Group Financial Controller - Axon Moore Group Ltd : Job Details

Axon Moore are excited to be partnered with a high growth Industrials business who are in the midst of a transformative period and require a technically proficient Group Financial Controller to act as number 1 in finance. As Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for ensuring a compliant and fit for purpose finance function whilst overseeing the international element of our client. This role will eventually grow into a Finance Director position and you will also play a part in developing the finance team out. The Role

• Ensuring a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth
• Oversight of international consolidations
• Ownership of statutory reporting
• Leading the annual audit process
• Exposure to reporting under IFRS 
• Preparing monthly board packs including commentary 
• Business partnering with the rest of the board on strategic initiatives 
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes

The Person

• Qualified Accountant, ideally practice trained (ACA, ACCA)
• Strong commercial awareness
• Experience of working in an international business
• Leadership qualities, able to lead and develop a junior team
• Comfortable in a fast paced business
• Ambitious, keen to learn and progress
